Here's how we met

We met at a James A. Shanks Jamboree when we was both 13. He was eating a blow pop and was looking quite sexy and I had on a mini skirt push-ons in place and hair right he said was sexy he had to talk to me. His cousin and one of my good friends introduced us and we have been together every since.

Here's how we got engaged

He has asked me several times to marry him, but I told him I wasn't ready and I wasn't so when he asked this time we were in a pawn shop purchasing a laptop and playstation 3 and he popped the question on spot in front of everybody and I said "Yes" that was after the clerk said YES lol! It was nice.

Why we're excited about our wedding date

Because we have been together for 12 years and feel that we have grown and are now ready to make these big commitments. I decided the month April because my aunt's birthday is this month and she died of leukemia when she was only 11 years old. It's the time of year when everything is nice.

Our first time going out we went to the movies and out to eat he always have opened doors for me and was a gentlemen. I couldn't ask for a better soulmate.

Who's the better cook, and why?

I am the better cooker because I am always in the kitchen and every meal I prepare he tells me "Damn, this good!" lol But if I ask him to cook he will and can.
